Ridgeley, now 60, shares that they often played Scrabble together, as Michael was a big game fan.
He mentions that Michael had recently won a game against him, and they were engaged in a friendly rivalry during their last meeting a few months before Michael’s death.
Additionally, he mentions that he wasn’t the only one who played Scrabble with Michael. George was found dead at his home in Goring-on-Thames, a village in South Oxfordshire, England.
His boyfriend, Fadi Fawaz, discovered his lifeless body. After his death, an autopsy was carried out, but the results were inconclusive, meaning they couldn’t determine the exact cause.
The police stated that his death was unexplained but not suspicious.
