Fat Joe Calls Out Ja Morant's Father Amid Gun Controversy
Fat Joe has put Ja Morant’s father, Tee Morant, on blast for his alleged lack of parenting following the Memphis Grizzlies point guard’s recent string of controversial antics.
While the NBA superstar will remain away from the team for at least the next four games, Joey Crack hopped on Instagram Live earlier this week and weighed in on Morant’s behavior, saying he believes some of the burden falls on Tee Morant.

“Ja Morant always got his father there. Instead of his father enjoying the scene and getting drunk at the game, he better school his son,” Joe said, referencing Tee’s regular courtside presence at Ja’s games.
The Bronx native then addressed Ja Morant when it comes to managing the entourage around him and straightening his act out before he risks throwing his career away.

“Bro, you did not come this far to fuck your shit up,” he warned. “Your family has to really be your family and talk to you. I hope somebody gets him a copy of this because I don’t make money off Ja Morant. I’m just telling you the truth.
“There’s two ways this could go: you could keep it real, which is the dumbest shit I ever heard in my life and go broke and get the fuck out the NBA because they’re not going for a NBA player pistol whipping dudes — they not going for that.”

Joey Crack continued to warn Morant: “I don’t care how nice he is, he will be playing in Serbia-Montenegro. And his father who likes to go like this and the three pointer at every game, he better love the game in Turkey.”

Morant was initially suspended for two games for seemingly flashing a gun inside a Colorado nightclub on Instagram Live earlier this month. The Grizzlies announced earlier this week that he’ll be away from the team for at least the next four contests as well.
In a turn of good news for the Grizzlies star, police reportedly cleared Morant as he won’t be facing any charges for the gun incident, which occurred after his team’s March 3 loss to the Denver Nuggets.

It’s far from the first instance of erratic behavior from Morant of late. Earlier this year, he was accused of repeatedly punching a 17-year-old during a pick-up basketball game at his Memphis residence last July.
Morant also allegedly threatened the head of security at a Memphis mall when his mother got into a disagreement with a Finish Line store employee.
