Nicole Scherzinger To Tie The Knot?

Sultry singer Nicole Scherzinger may need to trade in her bikinis and old Pussycat Doll threads for a full-blown wedding gown. After dating Formula 1 racer Lewis Hamilton on-and-off for five years, Scherzinger’s speed demon beau hints that a ring is in the near future.

“We’ve been together for five years, which is quite a milestone really,” Hamiton told British paper The Sun. “But hopefully in the near future. Maybe before we get to six years.”

It may not come as a surprise to the “Don’t Hold My Breath” singer ,though, who told The Mirror in 2008, “We would love to have beautiful angel babies one day.”

Hectic schedules reportedly caused their split in 2010 especially for the former PCD front woman, who threw the U.K.’s “X Factor” judging gig into her itinerary last year, taking time away from seeing her man race on the track.

“You kinda have to look at the schedules because people will put something in any time that you have off and we’re always working,” Nicole said. “We have to be like, ‘OK, this week I’m going to try to make it to this race, if I don’t, I’ve got this performance here; what can you do?’ Every minute counts, you know?”
